IP Connectivity for FreeSpeak II

The FreeSpeak II 1.9 GHz system allows users to leverage networking capability to create wireless coverage zones anywhere a reliable connection is available. Transceiver antennas for the wireless system are linked through a network to an Eclipse-HX matrix frame with an available E-IPA-HX card. Eclipse-HX gives the FreeSpeak system the ability to connect to other intercom devices also tied to the matrix frame for a complete IP-based wired and wireless intercom system.

In a single-frequency band configuration, the FreeSpeak II base station can support as few as one or as many as 10 Transceivers for providing wireless coverage to a maximum of 25 full-duplex wireless beltpacks in either 1.9GHz or 2.4GHz frequency band. Add the fiber-based Splitter box to extend the transceiver position to as far as 60,000 feet away from the base station.

In a multiple-frequency configuration, a FreeSpeak II system can support a very large coverage zone with up to 60 Transceivers for wireless communication of potentially up to 50 1.9GHz and 40 2.4GHz full duplex wireless beltpacks in the same radio space.  This setup is ideal for applications that require more wireless users or for adding 1.9GHz DECT wireless in areas where there is high intensity of 2.4GHz interference.
